Proph Core Classes in Factions/NF
Hey Guys.
I've been playing in Prophecies since beta, and only now have bought Factions and NF collectors editions, (they arrive in the post in the next couple days.) My question is about starting new core classes from Proph. Is it best to create them in Proph, and then travel to Factions/Nightfall homelands, or to start any new core classes in Factions/Nightfall and travel to Tyria? Does it make a difference? Yeah, it makes a diffrence. If you make in Tyria, you have very slow level gaining compared to Factions and Nightfall, there is a lot of missions (10?) before Lion's Arch and ability to travel between chapters (but you can get a run...) and, the most important thing, 30 Attribute Points are really far far away and are more difficult, than, let's say, in Nightfall or Factions.

Also, you have different faces and hair styles availible for your character models, depending on for which campaign you create them.

If you just want to get right into the game with all your attribute points, and level 20, you should definitely start off with Factions. You can level your way up and gain the Attribute Points there fastest compared to the other two.
I like to spend a lot of time on Guild Wars, so 4/6 of my PvE characters are from Prophecies, soon to be 5/7 from Prophecies. |
